By using the branding guidelines, we figured out a practical execution to give maximum effect with a sensible budget.
The Challenge
WLBA rebranded and required an update to their signage and corporate identity. The existing graphics had to be replaced in the best way possible – keeping in mind the current installed signage – this included interior and exterior signage. There was one big area of concern on the exterior of the building – an ATM had to be covered and required problem solving.
Overall the project had to be practical and a cost effective solution.
The Solution
We looked at the old design and signage and compared it to the new design to establish what the best approach would be for the new signage. We wanted to keep the change-over as seamless as possible. From there we figured out how to use the new design best and what material will give the optimal overall finish.
By using the branding guidelines, we figured out a practical execution to give maximum effect with a sensible budget. On the exterior of the building, the current layout could be updated to the new branding colours and logo without adding too much to the existing shop front. This allowed for a smooth changeover from old to new branding. We used various vinyl graphics to complete the look. Giving it a unique and interesting finish.
After reviewing the ATM area we realized there was a ledge protruding the front and we had to buffer it to give the new graphics an even uniform look. We decided to use a Dibond panel to sit flush in the framework to build a new ‘false’ wall and extend the storefront.
The interior graphics, we made sure sizing lined up to cover old fixings to the wall and update to a new sleek look. We produced a new flat cat acrylic logo, fitted to the interior wall with stand-off locators.
In addition to this we also supplied various stationery products – including business cards, letterheads, correspondence cards and folded double sided leaflets.
The Result
The client is very happy with the new signage. It was a successful rebrand without breaking the bank.
