THE CHALLENGE

An existing client approached us to complete the branding signage for their customer, which included both shopfront signage and interior graphics. They required a distinctive and illuminated exterior sign, as well as window and internal vinyl graphics to enhance the brand presence.

THE SOLUTION

We initially proposed a range of illuminated signage options. The client ultimately chose a fret-cut sign tray for the shopfront, as it aligned with their design vision. Although they had requested a projecting sign, we identified that the decorative cornice on the building made this impractical, and we guided them toward alternatives.

The final solution included:

• Fascia Sign Tray:
  
  We fabricated a folded aluminium sign tray, powder-coated in a satin turquoise finish, and incorporated stencil-cut branding elements. Opal acrylic inlays were used for the logo and text, which were illuminated from behind by an LED panel, providing visibility both day and night. The sign was mounted securely to the wooden fascia using aluminium supports.

• Window Vinyl:

  Full-colour printed perforated vinyl was applied to the windows. This material allows for one-way vision during the day, maintaining privacy inside the clinic, while at night, the reversed lighting makes the interior visible from outside.

• Internal Vinyl Graphics:

  We also installed contour-cut vinyl logos on the interior walls, enhancing the branding within the clinic. These were printed in full colour and laminated for durability.

Project Highlights:

This was the first illuminated sign we produced for this client, making it a milestone project for both parties. The signage not only reinforced the clinic’s brand identity but also created a visually appealing and professional look both inside and out. The use of perforated window vinyl allowed for privacy during the day without sacrificing visibility at night, making it a functional and stylish solution.
