FASTSIGNS York is delighted to be supporting the Yorkshire Adventurers as they journey from Paris to Dakar, raising funds for Help for Heroes.
The Yorkshire Adventurers, a.k.a. Nev Styles and Tony Day, have a dream and that dream is about to become a reality as they embark on The Real Way to Dakar 2023.
Running from 19 January to 4 February 2023, The Real Way to Dakar is an adventure rally following the original Paris Dakar route. Covering some 6,000km across Europe and Western Africa to the finish line, close to the equator in the City of Dakar, the Yorkshire Adventurers can expect to have to contend with snow and sub-zero temperatures in the Atlas Mountains through to 40°C plustemperatures in the sands of the Sahara Desert. The stakes are high, but the cause is well worth it – all money raised will go to Help for Heroes.

Also, it gave us the opportunity to support Help for Heroes - such a fantastic cause! And then it was thrilling to see our handywork featured on BBC News! ”
