The Peahen-McMullens

The Challenge

We have an established relationship with the management of the Peahen for small format printing but have never done any bigger signage for them. They were coming to the end of their refurbishment and they reached out to us as another supplier had let them down.

They needed us to create an internal and external neon sign within two weeks! The external sign was to be implemented onto a metal arch to create a unique area for customers to take photos and post on social media whilst the internal sign was to hang from the bar.

The Solution

Rosie went to do a site visit the day after the phone call to make sure we had all the measurements, photos and precise information from our client. There was a lot of construction work happening on site so hard hats, hi vis and boots were necessary!

Rosie went away and created visuals with our inhouse design team along with quotes and timelines. Once arrangements were made and we had sign off the order went to production.

The Result

The Neon Signs instantly catch the attention of customers when they access the pub through either the garden or the front door. The vibrant colors act as a magnet, drawing people in and using the Instagrammable arch in the garden for all their photos!

Mcmullens were extremely impressed with the quick turnaround and tenacity of the team at FS St Albans that they have continued to work with the team on other projects in other pubs within their portfolio.
