Chater Junior School

The Challenge

Upon contacting Chater Junior School about signage, they eagerly embraced the opportunity to bring their envisioned project to life. Their goal was to integrate core values with the school logo, extending this cohesive signage concept throughout the entire school, encompassing both interior and exterior spaces such as the playground, internal gym, and school hall.

The Solution

Following an initial consultation, we conceptualised several design ideas combining core values with the logo. Upon approval of the circular design, we embarked on applying it to various signage throughout the school grounds.

Our initial focus was on the playground graphics, using robust aluminium composite panels to withstand the daily wear and tear from school activities. These large panels feature both the logo and individual banners representing the core values.

Extending the design from the exterior to the interior, we adorned the sports hall, corridors, and canteen with printed Foam PVC panels and logo discs, fostering a sense of belonging and a strong brand identity for students.

In the reception hall, we opted for a more premium finish, creating an impressive acrylic logo disc protruding from the wall with stand-off locators. Adjacent to it, an acrylic notice board with pockets showcases the staff.

To complete the cohesive look, we crafted an eye-catching welcome mat, providing a warm greeting to visitors as they enter the school building.

The Result

Chater Junior School expressed great satisfaction with the visible display of their branding and school pride throughout different areas on the premises.
