The Challenge

For FASTSIGNS, the challenge was clear: Ashe Roofing needed a statement sign that could not be missed and would catch the eye of commuters travelling in and out of the station. They envisioned a sign that would reflect their strong brand presence and stand as a beacon that highlights their modern approach to roofing solutions. Visibility from afar, especially from the station, was key to achieving this goal.

The Solution

With Ashe Roofing’s robust logo and distinctive brand colors in hand, the design team embarked on crafting a built-up face illuminated sign that would deliver exactly what was requested. The 100mm deep powder-coated letters not only housed the LEDs effectively but also aligned with Ashe's brand colours. Each letter featured a blue acrylic face, enhancing the illumination with Ashe's iconic brand color and ensuring visibility from great distances.

Mounting the sign was just as crucial as its design. The letters were affixed to a sleek rail system to fit seamlessly with the building’s cladding. This rail was powder-coated to match the building’s exterior and allowed cables and fixtures to remain hidden, maintaining the sign's clean, polished look without compromising structural integrity.

The culmination of these efforts is nothing short of spectacular. High on the building's façade, Ashe Roofing’s illuminated sign now commands attention from every angle. Whether you're at the station or navigating through the estate, the sign's vibrant glow acts as a guiding light.
