An investment of more than half a million pounds proved to be the catalyst for our move into new premises in Salford (Media City).
To celebrate the launch, we welcomed friends, colleagues and FASTSIGNS global CEO Catherine Monson, who came over from the US to declare our new centre open.
Since first opening in 2010, we are delighted to have seen year-on-year growth, despite the recession, and expanded our talented team from three to ten. Recently, we promoted one of our apprentices into a full-time position and also recruited new graphic design, business development and production/ installation team members.
Of course, starting a business during a downturn was a challenge, and we had to work hard to keep our costs low. Now, with a much larger premises and team, we have become the fourth largest centre out of a network of more than 22 FASTSIGNS UK locations.
We are currently half way through our 36-month investment plan, and following the move we have invested in new machinery to create more complex signage in house. Not only that, but we are also planning to build the team further to ensure we’re meeting the demand and delivering a fantastic service to our customers.
It was a real honour to be joined by our global CEO for our re-opening, and her visit was testament to what has been achieved here. As part of the celebrations, we treated guests to food, drinks and guided tours of the new centre. There was also a BMW i8 featuring our vehicle graphics so we could show them an example of the great work we do.
Measuring 5,500 square feet, the new premises are almost five times the size of our previous site on Chester Road, Old Trafford.
It’s down to all our customers, friends and the FASTSIGNS® Manchester team that we have been able to expand – so I would personally like to thank you all. If you want to find out more about what we can deliver, or would like to come and view the premises, please call us on 0161 848 2410 or drop in any time from Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm. We’re also available for pre-arranged appointments at the weekend.
