Background

Latitude Wine and Liquor Merchant is a much-loved Leeds business based in The Calls area of Leeds. Latitude was founded in 2008 and is made up of a team recruited exclusively from the experienced Leeds hospitality community.

The Latitude team believe that good hospitality shouldn’t be reserved to bars and restaurants, and they have always worked hard to create a warm and friendly atmosphere in the shop. Customers enjoy browsing and sampling great value bottles of wine, while having a chat with the staff.

Recently, Latitude announced their plan to move premises and extend their offering to open as a bar. Latitude’s loyal customer base were delighted to hear this news. Here at FASTSIGNS Leeds, we were delighted to help them with the move to the new premises just down the road on The Calls.

What we did

We were asked to brand the new premises with both temporary ‘Coming Soon’ graphics and new permanent signs and graphics. We also created graphics for the existing premises, to tell customers where they were moving to.

Towards the end of 2023, we installed temporary window graphics at the new premises. The graphics announced who the new tenant would be at 46 The Calls for local people. There was a genuine buzz that coincided with the graphics and announcement on Latitude’s social media.

Around the same time, we installed a banner and applied vinyl to the windows at their existing premises, telling customers and passersby where they were moving to.

In 2024, we had the exciting task of installing the new window vinyl and signs for their new shop and bar space. For the design, Latitude stuck with its existing brand and logo, and the classic design looks smart and inviting on the new shopfront.

Results

The brand new premises looks great, with window vinyl and a protruding external sign catching attention from all angles. We are pleased to have been involved in the creation of this beloved Leeds business’s exciting new venture.
