University Of Leeds Physics Department

Established in 1904, the University of Leeds is one of the country’s largest higher education institutes.

The Challenge

The University of Leeds historic campus is visited by students, locals and tourists alike for the facilities and impressive architecture. The main challenges would be designing graphics that satisfied various stakeholders and setting the agreed artwork up to fit the large windows.

The Solution

The FASTSIGNS® Leeds team designed various visuals that the department was pleased with, and after many revisions and meetings, we finalised the agreed design. A scale model was created to template the graphics and we set to work printing the 514 self-adhesive vinyl panels. Finally, installation was carried out using scissor lifts over a three week period.
