The Challenge

Hoyer, a world-renowned logistics solutions company, was in the process of rebranding to Oxalis Logistics. Their site, located in Huddersfield, required a full rebrand, which FASTSIGNS helped them achieve.

The Solution

With the rebrand taking place, FASTSIGNS surveyed the existing signage fittings and suggested signage opportunities to showcase the new Oxalis brandings within the building. With the existing Hoyer signage still in place, FASTSIGNS initially worked to remove the incumbent signage, assessing the available fixtures and fittings.

Once the signage solution for Oxalis was agreed upon with their head office team, FASTSIGNS designed and fully fabricated the solution, ensuring customised features for Oxalis’ signage needs. On the building’s exterior, the Hoyer signage was still in position at a significant height on top of the building. FASTSIGNS meticulously planned the logistics for the removal of this sign and the installation of the new signage, comprising three sets of built-up letters, due to safety concerns. Detailed Risk Assessments and Method statements were created and submitted to ensure all safety protocols were observed.

Other exterior signage included directional post and panel signage, directing staff and visitors to the reception, as well as informational signage providing details on parking restrictions and accessibility displays in the facility’s car park. Window graphics were also displayed in glass panels above the reception area, acting as location identifiers.

Inside the building, FASTSIGNS provided bright wall graphics depicting branded motifs in the new Oxalis Logistics, contrasting bright yellow and black brand colours. Two acrylic letter signs showcasing the brand’s logo were also installed within the facility, helping to position the new brand name prominently for staff and visitors to see.

The Result

FASTSIGNS service enabled the successful brand transformation from the Hoyer branding to the new Oxalis Logistics visuals, prominently marking the change both externally and internally within the building.
