High-Flying Transformation for Kite Packaging

The Challenge

Kite Packaging Ltd were moving to a new, larger Distribution Centre in Waterlooville, covering 44,000 square feet. With this move, they needed to ensure that the brand was prominently displayed on the exterior of the new, larger facility to maintain brand recognition and visibility. They also needed to enhance the interior aesthetics to create a welcoming environment for both employees and visitors.

The Solution

At the entrance to the Kite Packaging Distribution Centre, FASTSIGNS Portsmouth recommended the use of a totem sign providing initial details, such as the brand logo and directional information. This type of sign helps visitors to identify the site's entrance and provides initial information about accessing the site.

To ensure that the Kite Packaging name is displayed prominently on the exterior of their building, FASTSIGNS Portsmouth recommended two commercial building signs. The Kite Packaging logo was crafted from laser cut aluminium to create two signs, each measuring 3.4 metres in height and 5 metres in width. These aluminium letters were powder-coated to produce the exact Pantone of the company's brand colour palette. These signs were installed at both ends of the facility to ensure visibility from multiple angles.

Inside the manufacturing facility, to ensure that the company quickly established their brand in the facility, FASTSIGNS Portsmouth installed branded frosted glass privacy window graphics in several offices to provide privacy without sacrificing natural light, enhancing both the functionality and aesthetics of the office spaces. FASTSIGNS Portsmouth also recommended custom-printed wallpaper prints, which were installed in the downstairs lobby and to a main office wall, adding visual interest and reinforcing the company’s branding within the building.

The Result

The effective signage and interior enhancements delivered by FASTSIGNS facilitated a smooth transition to the new facility, aligning the physical space with Kite Packaging’s brand identity and operational needs.
