Zental Dental’s ownership team had a specific vision for their signage
The Challenge
Zental Dental, a private cosmetic dental clinic operating on two prestigious London highstreets, required signage to help deliver a sleek alternative aesthetic for their practices. This project brought together several different stakeholders and required out-of-the-box thinking, to reach the final signage installation stage.
The Solution
Zental Dental, a private cosmetic dental clinic operating on two prestigious London highstreets, required signage to help deliver a sleek alternative aesthetic for their practices. This project brought together several different stakeholders and required out-of-the-box thinking, to reach the final signage installation stage.
After an initial consultation, at both the Knightsbridge and Earls Court locations, FASTSIGNS identified signage opportunities that would create a modern exterior for both stores. Since each location operated under different local councils, the signage at both sites needed to complement each other, to maintain a unified brand presence. However, the permitted signage varied significantly. FASTSIGNS supported Zental Dental in understanding the signage permitted in each area, creating design briefs that echoed the agreed branding, but were tailored to each location’s aesthetical needs.
The Knightsbridge location required an understated finish, which did not allow for any illuminated features. FASTSIGNS recommended revitalising the existing store frontage with flat cut letters, affixed to the facia board to create a tasteful sign. To the interior, FASTSIGNS helped Zental Dental to elevate their interior partition walls, which they have decorated with a floral theme, by installing vibrant faux neon letters, merging aesthetics with functionality.
At the Earls Court Location, the customer had more scope to utilise illumination. This site’s double frontage windows allowed for a double fascia sign, made from an aluminium sign tray. Finished in the brand’s iron grey colours. The tray was fret-cut, with acrylic built-up letter inlays, nestled within the tray. Neutral white LEDs were added inside the letters, creating a striking and attention-grabbing sign. A double-sided, illuminated projecting sign was also added to the exterior signage, to help enhance the visibility of this dental practice.
The large glass frontage, utilised custom-designed window graphics, displaying QR codes, service listings and partner logos, enhancing the site’s professional appeal.
Inside this facility, FASTSIGNS helped the customer fabricate a unique signage installation, in the form of a large 3D model of a tooth! FASTSIGNS provided recommendations for developing the wireframe for the tooth and worked with a local florist to deliver its floral design. FASTSIGNS then incorporated a glowing faux neon sign. The tooth is now positioned in the store’s window.
The Result
This project delivered the desired aesthetic appeal, balancing a strong brand design, location permits and innovative products, resulting in visually appealing installations that captured attention across both locations.
