Steer Group Navigates to Visual Branding Success

The Challenge

Car Repair Body Shop, The Steer Group, operates three brands – Steer Prestige, Steer Express, and the new Steer EV – in multiple locations across the UK. Steer Group sought to create a cohesive brand visual, enhance its brand visibility, and improve their customers’ experience through their signage displays.

The Solution

FASTSIGNS developed a strong relationship with Steer Group’s design department and worked to understand the group’s brand identity, core values, and messaging. This attention to detail created a foundation of trust, as FASTSIGNS worked to produce a design template, which the Steer Group approved, for all of the signage at each site.

FASTSIGNS conducted a comprehensive audit at each of the Steer Group’s locations, noting existing signage fixtures and fittings, location, optimum visibility positioning, and features of the site’s architecture. This planning allowed FASTSIGNS to take the agreed design template and apply it to each sign, ensuring the brand visual integrity on numerous signs. FASTSIGNS provided accurate plans of the signage that each site required. Once the designs and information were agreed by Steer Group, FASTSIGNS were able to move into the production phase, completing X signs across 22 Steer Group sites.

FASTSIGNS then co-ordinated the logistics of the installation at each site. The rebranded signage installed at each location included internal and external signage, comprising site identification signage, wayfinding, and informational signs to assist customers and staff as they used each facility.

The Result:

The new signage provided the Steer Group with a unified brand visual across all of their locations. The clear and attractive signage enhanced customer experience and engagement, and the Steer Group have praised FASTSIGNS for their creativity, professionalism, and customer-focused service.
