Fieldhead Carr Primary School
The overall finish of the external signage is smart and eye-catching, creating a fantastic first impression for all who see it.
Last summer, Fieldhead Carr Primary School teamed up with design agency Allgood to refresh their branding. The agency developed a fantastic new logo and brand identity for Fieldhead Carr and FASTSIGNS® Leeds were enlisted to help distribute it throughout the school grounds.
The Challenge
The school wanted its name to be more visible externally and the entrances to be clearly identified by its smart new branding.
We worked alongside Allgood to specify the best materials for their designs. We created and installed a series of signs and graphics including free-standing signage, individual lettering for fascia signs, a roof tower wrap, as well as directional and warning signs.
The Results
The final designs are fresh, contemporary and rather unique for a school, helping to distinguish Fieldhead Carr within the neighbourhood.
Of the project, Fieldhead Carr’s School Business Manager, Deborah Hillerby, said:
‘We were immediately impressed by FASTSIGNS® Leeds, from the initial point of contact to the quality draft images sent to us as proofs. The staff were knowledgeable and informative regarding the right sign sizes and materials to use and it was never too much trouble to change the designs to ensure we got just what we wanted.
Installation and fitting was carried out by courteous and polite staff. The signs are smart, classy and stand out; people still ask "who made your signs?" I would highly recommend using FASTSIGNS® Leeds and we look forward to the completion of our building extension to use their services again.’
FASTSIGNS® Leeds Director, Andy Simpson, said: ‘It was great to work on this exciting project with Allgood; Paul Dodd and his team had done a great job with the fresh and modern branding for the school. We thought the signs would look great and the final result prove this to be true. As you approach the school the signs make a huge impact and are very striking.’
